Image
Everybody seems familiar with the fact that the process of moving from one home to another is a rather challenging experience that can sometimes reach unhealthy levels of concentrated stress and intense anxiety. And, without a doubt, one of the factors that will determine whether you will have a really rough period or not is the price you pay at the end of the house move. It’s not a secret that moving house is an expensive endeavor but the real issue that’s probably going to get you worried for real is how expensive it is. Some things can be pricey for some people but mere pocket money for others – therefore, it’s important to know in advance how much it will cost to move to another home. Considering that each and every house move is a unique relocation case with unique pre-move parameters (pick-up location, delivery location, move distance, overall shipment weight, additional services, presence of specialty items to move, and so on), only professional movers can estimate the price c...

Plastic pollution is one of the leading causes of marine pollution. In fact, 100,000  turtles  and marine mammals are killed by plastic every year around the world. Whether it is plastic chemicals or micro-plastic, it is affecting not only marine and terrestrial life but human life as well. There is enough plastic to constitute for approximately  90%  of all trash floating in our oceans and filling up landfills as I write this. This can stop.    What can we do to reduce the amount of plastic material going into the ocean and landfills? If you can't stop your use all together, then reuse! These DIY projects all include plastic that can spruce up your home and protect our planet.    Chandelier Use the bottoms of plastic soda/water bottles to create a one of a kind chandelier. Cut the bottoms off each bottle so you're left with the bodies and the necks. Cut the neck off two of the bottles and combine them so it makes a thicker bottl...

Massachusetts Should Raise its Net Energy Metering Caps:

Image
Massachusetts is at a crossroads. To keep the state’s solar market moving, the Massachusetts State Legislature must raise the state’s net energy metering caps before the year is out. Despite progress being made to finalize the new incentive program by the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources (DOER), called Solar Massachusetts Renewable Target (SMART), the Legislature must act to keep support for solar projects intact.
